Description:		An unusual late 19th century elephant hair ring set in 18K gold. Two strands of elephant hair are inset in channels and crimped with decorated panels on the front and back. Beautifully designed and very comfortable to wear. Elephant hair sourced from India was a popular material in English jewelry throughout much of the 19th century.
