Condition:
Good. Minor chipping to enamel. Diamond cluster probably predates bracelet, but a very early, if not original, addition. The back half of the bracelet was also probably replaced in the 19th century to enlargen the bracelet. An old repair visible near hinge.
Description:
A spectacular mid-Victorian bracelet in black enamel with a big cluster of foil-backed rose cut diamonds of especially high quality. Hinges to open, and clasps well, with an additional safety chain.
