Condition:		Good. The enamel on the bale is worn and there are several tiny chips from the onyx. The locket compartment doesn't snap shut tightly, but wouldn't be of any consequence.

Description:		A very unusual Victorian black onyx locket in the form of a crest. A large white paste stone is centered on its face. The backside reveals a glass enclosed compartment which hinges open. Dates to the late 1800s and likely American.
