Description: A very unusual Georgian-era mourning ring with a sepia drawing on ivory, under crystal. The image portrays a classically-styled lady standing over an anchor-- probably to symbolize the mourning of a sailor lost at sea. In a beautifully decorated rose gold mount. Dates to the late 1700s.
