A pair of 17th century components, as found, adapted to earrings with pearl tops. The stones are paste (hand cut leaded glass) and slightly different shades of crimson. The surrounds are exquisitely enameled in a zebra-like black and white pattern. The backs are enameled in turquoise enamel.

Condition

Fair, but commensurate with age. Enamel losses, wear to stones. Adapted into earrings, probably from components of a bracelet or necklace.
